Saving money online is easier than ever. There are numerous sites dedicated to helping savvy shoppers save money using online coupon codes. Many times these sites list both coupons and current store sales which can be a great way to snag a product for over 50% off. When I’m shopping online for something specific I will usually Google that item and add coupon code behind it.
For example when I was shopping for a Dora Doll House last Christmas I simply searched Dora Dollhouse coupon code. My results brought up various retailers offering toy coupons (think Target.com) as well as stores that had the Dora Doll House on sale, and of course even eBay (which can still be a great resource for buying discounted items).
If I am doing a general search I will usually search something like “Children’s Clothing Sale” or “Coupons for Children’s Clothes” this will pull up both current stores sales targeted towards children’s clothing, and specific retailer coupons for children’s clothing.
I always try to save at least 30% when shopping online and I try to use free shipping coupons as well. Shipping prices have gone down a lot in recent years, so I usually won’t pay more than $5 for UPS shipping.
If you already know what you want and are shopping a specific store (like Bloomingdale’s) all you have to search is Bloomingdale’s coupon, and you will be directed to websites that share coupons for that store specifically. Many times you can find coupons for 20% off, free shipping, and the current online specials for that store.
Even if you don’t like shopping online make sure you search for coupons from your favorite retailers before you hit the road, many online coupons can be used in the store as well, but you need the coupon code or the ability to show the cashier the coupon on your phone. I usually try to print the coupon so I don’t have to sorry about holding up the line.
Saving money online is easy, and I rarely pay full price for ANYTHING!
