Last week I bought Trop50′s newest products: Trop50 Peach with White Tea and Trop50 Raspberry with Green Tea and my kids couldn’t wait to try them. That part is quite normal, as is what happened next. I opened the fridge about 2 hours after bringing the drinks home, and the picture above is what I found.
Seriously kids? Why?
Why can drinks like these not last more than 24 hours in our home? Do you not love me? Do you not want me to reach into the fridge after doing your laundry, washing your dishes, and making your beds to find something cool and refreshing to drink, taht won’t expand my waist line? Do you consider my waist line, when you drink up all the “healthy” drinks?
Ah, I didn’t think so…
Tell me moms, how in the world do you keep your favorite foods and drinks in the house? Is there some magic spell I can put on my favorites to make them invisible to little eyes?
I was going to write this post as part of a review, but to be honest, I couldn’t wait for my coupons to come, so I went ahead and purchased the drinks when I went grocery shopping. Besides water and coffee, Trop50 Juice with Tea is pretty much all you’ll find me drinking now. I have sworn off soda (for now ha ha, not sure how long it will last), and have tried to only drink beverages with all natural sweeteners in them. Luckily Trop50 beverages are made using Stevia, so they are perfect for this diet soda loving mama!
I love knowing that I’m only using about 35-40 calories per cup because I would much rather get my daily calories from the foods I eat, not from liquids (I know weird, right?!). Now, if I could just figure out how to keep it in the house, I would be all set.

Please share your tips on keeping the kids out of the fridge (no, they don’t actually get into the fridge, you know what I mean) and try Trop50 Juice with Tea for yourself, and let me know what you think of it. You can find Trop50 in stores near you, by clicking here.
Oh, and in case you’re wondering…I will be giving out the coupons Trop50 sends me in the grocery store (to unsuspecting customers
).
~ Even though I did buy these myself, I will make sure no one tries to throw Trop50 under the bus by once again stating that a) I bought my own juice b) Trop50 gave me some free product coupons to give away in my store. There, FTC are you happy now?

My kids are still pretty little and my 6 year old refuses to drink anything but water. But I WOULD have to hide this from hubby. Those new Trop drinks look delicious, I will have to watch for them when I am out next!
Wow! That’s awesome that your 6yr old love water so much!
My family loves tea (except for my oldest – not sure who he belongs to?) so we will definitely give this a try!
What does your oldest prefer?
Those look delicious!
I might just have to try them.. but I too have 4 kids that always get to my stuff before I do! I have to hide anything I don’t want my kids to consume!
I just checked out your blog, and from what I saw I’m thinking you could probably create some kind of crafty thing to hide our stuff in!! Hey, let me know if you do, I would buy it
I’ll have to check these out! I sometimes make my own “juice tea” but these sound better. I have two teens and they don’t stop at beverages. I have to hide things that I don’t want them to consume in one day. Unfortunately, they have found my hiding places…
Well, at least I know I’m not alone. LOL
ok, now I need to try that green tea! I’m a green tea lover, but I have to add a ton of sugar or honey to drink it. 50-80 calories is a reasonable amount for a refreshing beverage
You will love it Marybeth
LOL You crack me up! I have to hide an extra bottle in the bottom of the fridge where my daughter doesn’t look when I want something to last more than a day!
You know what I do that is so bad… I will wait until none of the kids are home to buy something I really like,so I can eat it without anyone begging me for a bite. My daughters are like baby birds. They stand near me saying Ahhhhh with their mouths wide open.
I’ve tried four different flavors of the Trop 50 so far and they’re delicious! I’m sad to tell ya that the same kind of empty feeling goes on over here with those. You buy that brand and it’s gonna be slurped!
I can’t wait to try the other flavors now!
You got my attention. No calories? No artificial flavors? Sold. These look so good! Only problem? Their wouldn’t be any left for ME with the way my siblings are!! Our containers would probably be empty. :p
Sadly, there is no magic spell and it gets much worse when they are teens (sorry). I would bring home delicious juice and it would be gone within an hour or two—sigh.Non-refrigerated items I just hide
I feel ya lol
I have not tried these, but the half empty containers have convinced me. I’ll pick some up!
LOL this happens all the time at my house. I can’t say I blame your kids – these juices look so good – I wasn’t aware of the new flavors.
At my house, I have to put post it notes saying “Mom’s” if I don’t want them in my stuff!
