Yes, I do realize we are almost half way through the year, and I am just now setting a fitness goal…
Okay, so I have talked about it before and I will say it again, only this is the LAST time!!! I want to run. Not because I love running, but because I hate it! I want to force myself to do something that I don’t enjoy doing.
Why do I want to run, if I hate doing it?
Maybe I’m cRAzY…
No really (I know I’m crazy), I want to run because:
- I can do it anywhere
- The kids can do it
- It adds personality to my social media profiles (only partly kidding)
- It keeps me from being the lazy bum I have been for the past 28 years.
I want to be more disciplined. I don’t want to lose weight, so I have no weight loss goals. I do want to be a good steward of my body, and teach my kids that a) working out is a habit they need to start now b) we can do hard things even when we
hate don’t like them c) hard work and dedication produces rewards.
So my plan is to purchase a double stroller, some sweet running shoes, and start The Couch to 5K plan.
