Disney’s FRANKENWEENIE will be hitting theaters in October, and I already know my boys will be “begging” to see it! They love dogs, they want to love Tim Burton (The Nightmare Before Christmas has yet to be enjoyed by them), and they love Disney. To be honest I am really looking for to seeing something a little more kid friendly from Burton, and hope the humor is comparable to his other classics. Not to mention I will finally be able to tell my grandchildren that I used to watch movies in black & white .

Disney’s FRANKENWEENIE is From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes “Frankenweenie,” a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
