Day 3 – Victory is here at last.
Day 3 is a reminder that God wants us to be full, but that we continue to turn to idols instead of Him. If we turn our ear to Him, He will satisfy us.
Q1. From Psalm 81:10-12, what two principles will provide you with victory over habitual sin?
Q2. According to Jeremiah 15:16, what does it mean to eat God’s Word? How do we develop an appetite for God’s Word so that it becomes our joy and delight?
By feeding on God’s Word and being obedient to Him we are able to break the chains that tie us down to food! Will you do those things today?
Day 4- Fasting
Fasting can be a very scary thing, especially if you have never done it before. When I completed my first fast day, I was completely reliant on God. Going without food for a day was extremely hard for me and required me to rely on God in a way I never had before! When the fast was over, I didn’t want it to end. How did your fast day go?
Q1.What is our reward if our purpose in fasting is to be noticed by others?Who rewards us when we fast without fanfare? (Matthew 6:16)
Day 5- Food is NOT the problem!
I could write about this lesson ALL day long! This is my favorite day of the entire course, because for me this days is FREEDOM from all false teachers have taught. It makes me remember that crash diets DON’T work! I love this day, and hope you find as much freedom in it as I have!
What did you think of today’s lessons?
Q1. According to Colossians 2:20-23, what is the problem with the teaching of the diet craze industry today?
Q2. According to 1 Corinthians 1:19-20,25, what should we trust in for a solution to our food issues?
Q3. According to 1 Timothy 4:1-5 who is able to receive all food with thanksgiving? (Those who believe and know the truth). These verses give us a warning and hope. How do they apply to our eating?
I would love to hear how you are doing!
