Halloween Costume Ideas – Infant & Toddler Costumes

If you are looking for super cute Halloween Costume Ideas you have come to the right place! I am going to give you my top costume picks for 2010!

COSTUME IDEAS FOR BOYS:

Mario/ Luigi / Toad / Yoshi – Mario is back and it’s bigger than ever! With the recent release of Super Mario Galaxy 2 any gamer will be thrilled to dress up as his favorite character this year! My boys went as M&L last year and we actually had complete strangers stopping us to take their picture!

Crafty Tip: You could decorate your own candy bag! Just buy a plain while gift bag (hobby store or Walmart) and color it to look like a brick block or a coin box with the question mark on it!

Cost: $24.97 – $31.97

COSTUME IDEAS FOR GIRLS:

Alice / Mad Hatter / Queen of Hearts / New Tinker Bell – Between Alice & Wonderland and Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure, you can’t go wrong dressing your Disney girl! You may want to get yours fast, as I have a feeling that this years hard-to-find costumes are going to be the characters of the newly released Alice & Wonderland!

Cost: as low as $19.97 (depending on the costume you choose)

COSTUME IDEAS FOR TODDLERS:

Yo Gabba Gabba Costumes – Toddlers will love these adorable costumes that show off their favorite TV friends! Don’t forget to let them carry around their favorite Yo Gabba Gabba toys to make their costume even cuter (think boom box & guitar).

Cost: $24.97 – $39.97

My daughter reviewed the Abby Cadabby costume and she LOVED it! I could not get her to take it off! She got yogurt on it on day 2 of her “review” and she cried for 10 minutes because I had to wash it!

This particular costume came with the dress, a pair of wings that attach to the dress with Velcro, and 2 yarn hair hairbands.

You can tell by the photo’s that this is a high quality Toddler Costume! I know that even though it’s July and she will probably wear it at least once a day, it will last until Halloween!

Because my daughter’s hair is still baby fine, I made one pony tail at the top of her head and used my hair clips to secure the hair bands around the pony tail! She wore them all day, and I only had to adjust them twice!

The quality of this dress really shocked me! Usually toddler costumes can look so cheap, but this looks just like the real deal! My two favorite things about this costume are; the wings (they are ultra soft, not hard and stiff like most wings), and the neck detail! It adds so much to the overall look of the dress!

We could not be happier with this dress!

Cost: $19.97 (marked down from $36.99)

    What cute costumes!

Unfortunately I am due Nov 8 (after Halloween!) so I will have to wait until my baby is almost 1 before dressing him up for Halloween.
