Summer Learning Loss – A thing of the past!

During the summer I try to have the boys do activities to keep their brains as fresh as a mountain breeze. This year we are using the Carson-Dellosa Summer Bridge Activity books, and they are a perfect fit for our packed schedule!

These book contain 60 worksheets (1 per day) and a few bonus sheets. Students cover math, science, reading , social studies, character development, fitness, and much more! I loved watching my youngest do toe touches for the first time, it was extremely entertaining.

I highly recommend these workbooks for parents who are looking to give light work and activities that will bridge the gap between grades. It only takes a few minutes a day to keep the facts they’ve learned throughout the school year trapped between their little ears all summer long.

If higher learning and the assurance of a college scholarship aren’t enough to motivate you to purchase these workbooks, I should also tell you that they also come packed with reward stickers . Nothing says you’ve succeeded like sticky paper, which will eventually cover your hardwood floors, car windows, and your cat (no, I don’t speak from personal experience).

My boys really do enjoy these workbooks and usually ask to use them every day!
