What is it about this man that makes him so hard to buy for? I’m not sure if it’s the fact that I’m his daughter (so,what else could he possibly need, he has me right?!?!) or that the gifts stores promote for Father’s Day are just so BORING (and yet we still buy the ties, wallets, and gift books year after year!) but I used to DREAD buying Father’s Day gifts! Everything I wanted to buy him (like the year I bought the Nolan Ryan Autographed Jersey) were too expensive, and everything else just lacked in personality! It said ” Hey dad I was walking through the store and saw this display that reminded me Father’s Day was coming up so, I grabbed the first “gift-like” thing I could find and bought it for you!
Then one year it hit me like a freight train… he loves getting pictures of the kids… he loves coffee in a way that should be illegal… I’ll get him a coffee mug with the kids mugs on it 
It was a grand idea that made was well received! So well received in fact, he has gotten at least 1 a year (hey, I keep havin’ kids so I have to update the mug collection!
