So, you are a blogger and you see some of your favorite blogs hosting giveaways and giving you their opinions on some really cool products…you naturally think, “how can I do that”. I don’t have all the answers but I do know what has worked for me.
First I prepared a “PITCH”, this tells companies what you are looking to do (review/giveaway a product on your blog). Tell them why you and your readers would like this item showcased on your blog, give them some blog stats (Google PR Rank, Daily Uniques, Daily Page Views, Followers), and give them your address and all of your contact info (facebook, twitter, blog address). That’s all there is to it! If you are sincere they will know it!
Here’s what I use to check stats: Goggle Analytics and Google Page Rank Checker (many people use other such as alexa and stat counter, but these are the one’s I prefer!)
Then I visited the sites listed below and registered to join their review network! Not all sites have openings right now but if you keep an eye on them you can apply when they do!
1) Product Review Place You will find products for review under Pitches From PR (This is where I started)
2) Blog Friendly PR They accept applications the first two weeks of every month (so apply NOW!) You can also directly email all companies that are not password protected with you pitch. They are listed under the Blog Friendly Companies Tab.
3) Mom Fuse Pop Alerts Sign up to receive opportunities through email.
4) Mom Select Sign up to receive opportunities through email
5) Mom Central - This is one of my Favorites! Opportunities by email
6) Double Duty Divas- Opportunities by email
7) Mom Made That!- Join as a preferred member to get opportunities 48 hrs early!
My Blog Spark – Opportunities by email!
9) Chic Execs - You get access to lots of great opportunities and you email the companies with your pitches!
10) Pitch Companies That You Love – All they can do is turn you down, or not reply at all! So just do it, I have gotten quite a few opportunities like this!
After you start doing reviews on your blog it won’t take long before companies start to contact you!

wow, lots of great leads. I so wish I had time to do more reviews, but with a FT job that takes up most of my time for 9 months out of the year it is pretty much impossible. When layoff comes around, will have to check out some of your leads and try them out! TY for the heads up
